Suddenly HP 8160 won't print -- paper jam error.  No paper jam.  Have done all steps of checking Paper Jam error as outlined at https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04100779:     actual paper jams, free movement of ink cartridges, and cleaning rollers and printer reset.  Still getting Paper Jam message and can't print.  Machine out of warranty and am in small country with no trustworthy printer technicians, let alone an HP authorized repair option.  Had installed a new HP printhead  ($$$) two months ago and printer was working beautifully.  Sure would appreciate help.  Thanks.  Karen

I appreciate your response but as I said in my request for help: "Machine out of warranty and am in small country with no trustworthy printer technicians, let alone an HP authorized repair option. "    My country, Dominica,  not listed on the link you sent.  I am hoping for some advice re repairing by myself, or at least diagnosing.

Unfortunately you'll be unable to do it yourself. Please do take it to any repair center to get it fixed.

Wishing that HP's business model was an environmentally conscious, customer and life friendly one of helping people to repair quality products made to last, instead of that of buying replacements due to shoddy, cheap made-to-self destruct products.  Will switch to first such competitor.
