I have noticed a problem with printing on card stock.  Typically the first page prints fine but after that the feed doesn't line up and end up with partial pages.  I just finished a larger card stock project (175 pages) for my kindergarteners.  I counted them up and 42% of the project printed correctly with another 17%  being OK and likely still usable.  Obviously the amount of card stock and ink on my instant ink account that is wasted is very concerning.  Any ideas?

@Iteachkinder3, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • What size of cardstock papers are you using?
  • Which application are you using to print?
  • Have you tried printing on regular paper and check if it prints fine?

Kindly refer to the printer specifications to know the supported cards.

Make sure the media is correctly loaded in the input tray - Loading Paper, Cards, and Envelopes

Also, check the print settings and print preview before printing.
