Hello, I am trying to print something on my printer, but my computer keeps saying that my printer as an "error", I do not know what the error can be, my ink is filled properly, paper is installed, etc. It just will not print my documents from my computer. Can someone help me?

Hi @Diana1207,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I can certainly try to help you troubleshoot the issue with your HP printer. Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and potentially resolve the problem.
- Check Printer Connections: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your computer. If it's a wired connection, make sure the USB cable is securely plugged into both the printer and your computer. If it's a wireless connection, ensure that both devices are connected to the same network and that the printer is powered on.
- Restart Printer and Computer: Sometimes, simply restarting both the printer and your computer can resolve temporary issues. Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Similarly, restart your computer and try printing again.
- Check for Error Messages: If there's an error message displayed on the printer's control panel, take note of it. Error messages can provide valuable clues about what might be causing the issue.
- Check Printer Status on Computer: On your computer, check the printer queue or printer status to see if there are any error messages or pending print jobs that might be causing the problem. If there are any print jobs stuck in the queue, try cancelling them and then attempt to print again.
- Update Printer Drivers: Outdated or corrupted printer drivers can sometimes cause printing problems. Visit the HP website and download the latest drivers for your printer model. Install the drivers on your computer and then try printing again.
- Check Ink and Paper Levels: Even though you mentioned that your ink cartridges are filled and paper is installed, double-check to ensure that there are no issues with ink or paper levels that could be causing the problem.
- Run Printer Troubleshooter: Many operating systems, including Windows and macOS, have built-in printer troubleshooters that can help identify and fix common printing problems. Run the printer troubleshooter on your computer to see if it can diagnose the issue.
- Reset Printer: As a last resort, you can try resetting your printer to its factory defaults. Consult your printer's manual or the HP website for instructions on how to perform a reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
