Product: HP 6968

Getting 0x6100004a with no paper jam.  Cartridge stuck to right side. (Tired everything from the video to unjam a printer that's not jammed)  Out of warranty purchased 2018. Seems like this is a common issue for this printer.  They do have care plans but hearing this does not help at all when out of Warranty.  I need to  get it fixed,  Cant talk to a customer service  without a warranty. So what are my options? Help!

@LLCorey, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand you are not able to print due to this error. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays

 

Also, make sure there are no paper jams inside the printer and the print carriage is moving freely - Paper Jam Error (includes steps to clear a carriage jam)

 

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
