Smart Tank Plus 555
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Regarding an old post 'Smart Tank 555 won't feed glossy paper' by MrLister. I also had issues with using Photo Glossy Paper not feeding into the printer. I found that if I placed a couple of sheets of standard inkjet paper under the Glossy paper then the rollers would feed a sheet of standard paper a sheet of glossy paper at the same time and print onto the glossy paper with no problems.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Is the glossy paper by HP? What is the size of this paper?

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Let me know if this helps.

Hi Betty,

I'm using Double-Sided glossy A4 paper by 'Uinkit' to print CD sleeves. The paper's quite thin so probably makes it harder for the printer rollers to feed the paper.

Thanks

Yep. Or you could use HP's.
