Product: HP OfficeJet 5744 e-All-in-One Printer

When I try to print on an envelope my printer loads both a sheet of paper and the envelope printing on the paper with the envelope beneath it. I have the envelope face down but no matter where I place it in the tray, it won't load it correctly, If I take all the paper out and leave just the envelope, the printer tries to load it but the envelope remains in the tray in a cockeyed position.

 

I've installed the latest software/drivers for my printer but at one point in the installation I got a blank while window I have no idea what was. Closing it via the X at the top brought up a link to copy to the Clipboard to use to finish installation. The link is the same one I used to download the software and install the software to fix the issue and didn't but instead ended in the same blank white window. So I just went in a circle.
