I downloaded a driver for my printer. When I tried to print from my computer via a USB connection, I get a JAM message with instructions to unjam the Printer. I did find some paper in the printer and removed it. Again when I tried to print form my computer, I got a JAM message. If I disconnect the USB cable from the printer and use the printer to copy a page, it works! NO JAM! When I plug the USB cable into the printer, I get a JAM message!! Other than beating the printer with a mallet, I'm at a loss to what the problem is!

Try to proceed like this:
- disable the WiFi and the WLAN
- shut down printer via on/off switch
- switch off the router
- shut down the computer
- wait about 60 sec.
- switch on the router, wait until the router has completely initialized itself again
- connect the computer and the printer with the USB cable
- Switch on the printer, wait until the printer has finished its initialization
- switch on computer, log in (with admin rights) and wait about 10 sec.
... and now everything's working again?

If the printer indicates a jam, then there is a small amount of paper left in the printer.
The following tools are required:
1 Flashlight
2 Tweezers
3 Magnifying glass
Then perform these steps here.
Take a close look at all the gears, too!
