Product: HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One Printer

When I turn on the printer, it says there is a paper jam, and gives me steps to resolve it.  I've followed the steps, and I can see no paper in it.  I assume it's a bad sensor.  Is this something I can purchase to repair the printer, or do I need to ship the printer somewhere?
