The OfficeJet Pro 8740 suddenly started to malfunction yesterday. I can initiate a print job either wirelessly or over USB, but then the printer remains in the state of "printing" while not doing any print activity. The Jobs list shows "Print (<filename>)" with a circle spinning continuously. I tried rebooting both my laptop and printer, and the same situation remains. Then I tried power cycle the printer, reset the printer to factory default, also reinstalled the driver and ran HP Print Doctor. Nothing helped. Any hints please?
