My HP 9015e printer ([Personal Information Removed]) has had paper feed problems since I purchased it a few years ago. I should have returned it immediately but found a couple of workarounds: the rear paper guide would not move so I added a block to keep the paper in place; and the printer fed multiple pages at a time if the paper tray got below1/4 full so I just add more paper--and it has to be just the right brand of paper. These paper feed problems started when the printer was brand new, but now it is feeding multiple pages even when the paper tray is full. One document will be printed across 2-4 pages. Other than feeding paper, the printer works like a champ. I've reset it and cleaned the rollers but it does not help. Any advice?

Dragon Opinion
If the printer has never served its purpose, has been kept clean and ready, aligned, and ready to do its best work, then perhaps it is time to consider investing in new tech.
Things have changed in the last five years -- remember that should you stay with HP, only the top-shelf OfficeJet Pro 91xx series have the features you are used to having. Anything less than that will not offer the same level of service or features.
What?
It's a printer - age is perhaps five years or close -- the mechanics are not likely to get better on their own.
If the hardware has never performed as it ought, years of service perhaps only add to its performance burden.
If you wish to invest more money and time into the printer, consider checking with a Printer Parts store for a new tray and perhaps a roller pick -- there are several printer parts stores in the USA. I believe most will ship to any part of the Postal service in the lower 48. Will that help? Maybe - or maybe just money down the drain...

You are welcome.
I just retired a splendid HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 - still in excellent condition.
That said, the 9025 printer is five years old - it does not have the new tech I wanted for training purposes.
In my opinion, Kudos to you for trying to make what you have work a while longer.
If you decide to retire your printer instead of trying new parts, do check whether your area includes eWaste recycling. I do realize that not every community has this level of recycle options. I've lived in the mountains where everything is miles away and now I live in a metropolis where everything is on top of everything else. Smiling. At the least, HP will recycle the old ink cartridges - ask if you need the information.
Good Luck.
