HP 9020 - Unable to print on photo paper

I bought the HP9020 at the end of October and am also using the Instant Ink trial months. For Christmas I wanted to print out a few photos on HP photo paper 100x150mm. I put the photo paper, as instructed, in tray 2 with the print side down.Only strips on the back of the photo paper were printed out, the photo was not printed out. Together with HP support, we tried various options: - Change the settings in the print menu on the Mac - Print via HP Smart function - Firmware updateThe printer was eventually replaced, but the same error with the replacement printer. They want to try again with other ink cartridges, but I don't believe in it. What are other possible sources of error?

Are you able to print other documents from your MAC?

 

4/6 photo paper is supported by this model printer as per the printer specifications.

 

Make sure the photo papers are properly loaded in the input tray. Refer to - Loading Paper, Envelopes, Cards

 

Check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.
