HP Recommended

Hello, I have been having issues with my printer making an annoying grinding/screeching noise.  Now I am getting greenish/yellowish blotches on the paper.  I cannot seem to locate anything stuck in the printer.  I previously called HP and she had me change my ink cartridge.  The noise went away for a short while, but now it is worse than ever and I am not receiving any notification that an ink cartridge needs rep .  Anyone know what the problem could be?  Any suggestions would be helpful.  Thank you.
