HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw paper jam - I believe there is a small piece of paper stuck. help

Where do you think the paper is stuck? There are a few places. Most common I see is either a sheet of paper wrapped around the fuser or a small bit of paper in the pickup assembly. Easiest way to check the pickup assembly is to remove all cartridges and the paper tray and then press the green button that drops the duplex tray down. Then carefully turn the printer onto it's left side so you can see the whole bottom. DO NOT simply tilt the printer onto its back as this usually results in the ADF lid flying open and possibly breaking the hinges.
