Printer says it out of paper every time you try to print but the paper tray is full. I called and emailed HP customer service multiply times to get this resolved. They would open the case and then close it without and contact from HP. Luckily I purchased it from Amazon and was able to return it even though it was past the return date. I don't think I'll buy another HP.

Hi @Consumer1970,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e All-in-One Printer is displaying an "Out of Paper" error despite having a full tray, try these steps to resolve the issue.
Check Paper Type and Alignment:
- Ensure paper is loaded correctly: Make sure the paper is aligned properly in the tray, with no curled or damaged sheets.
- Check the paper size and type: Ensure that the paper type matches the settings in the printer (e.g., using plain A4/Letter paper if that's selected in the print settings).
Clean Paper Feed Rollers:
- Dust or debris on the rollers can cause feeding issues. Open the printer and clean the paper feed rollers with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. Retry printing after the reset.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Outdated firmware may cause glitches. Check for firmware updates via the HP Smart app or the HP website and install any available updates.
Check the Paper Settings:
- On your computer, check the paper size and type settings in the printer driver or app. Ensure they match the paper in the tray.
- In the printer’s control panel, verify that the paper type and size are set correctly.
Hard Reset:
- Perform a factory reset on the printer by accessing the control panel settings and following the on-screen instructions to reset the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
