I'm having significant Carriage Jam issues with my HP ENVY 7800 printer. I've gone through all posted troubleshooting steps and am 100% confident that the actual paper jam has been cleared.
Near the end of printer initialization, the carriage SLAMS into the far left side of the printer and the carriage jam error is displayed.
I have tried setting the carriage all the way to the right manually when the power is off, hoping it will re-calibrate itself, but this has not worked, nor has anything else I have tried.

If you have already performed the steps from the document 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
