Hey everyone!

First of all - I'm german, so excuse my english.

My problem is very simple and yet it's really frustrating.

My printer will not print straight, all the prints are lopsided. It has been this way ever since I unboxed the printer (roughly 2 years ago). I thought it's just a minor error that will go away or I'd fix it and was too lazy to adress it earlier.

Since then I have never been able to get any straight printed text body on paper. It was okay before, but now that I need to print applications and more official stuff, it's become unacceptable.

One thing tho: some prints were more lopsided than others. the one scan I attached is "only slightly" lopsided (obviously still unacceptable for important letters). It has been way worse before, like three times as lopsided. it sometimes was so bad that some things in corners weren't included on the print.

Im obivously very frustrated and worried because it's been that way since the first sheet of paper. Feel like I should have returned the product, Ive been thinking of giving it to a repair shop, but figured I'd try this forum first.

I'm using very basic paper from HP. There's nothing that's blocking the paper tray, the little rails fit the paper perfectly. So the easy solution of wrong paper or paperjam is out of the window.

Is there anything I can do? Any other simple solution?

Thanks in advance!

Based on your description of the skewing issue, I would suspect either a misshaped roller in the feed path or a guide that is broken or not installed properly. The problem with the small printers is they can be very challenging to see the entire paper path of.
