Product: HP Laserjet Pro M402n
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a HP M402n that is giving me a "Jam in Cartridge Area open door and clear jam" after some searching online some people were saying unplug it and turn it upside down oddly enough to clear the message. That works occasionally, then after I try to print the paper gets stuck in the exact same spot and I'm back to the error message. I have tried a new cartridge and it also did nothing. The printer is fairly new, everything inside is in almost new condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using oem cartridges or 3rd party? We have had plenty of issues with NON-HP cartridges failing due to the drive shaft on the right side of the cartridge breaking or bending and then not engaging properly.

I've actually tried using both, I saw somewhere online about the issue with the drive shafts. However the OEM and 3rd party cartridges seem to be fine though as far as their drive shafts are concerned.

Any other ideas? Is it possible the fuser needs to be replaced?  I just looked up the printer and it is a year old.
