Microsoft Windows 11

Hello all, I run a help desk in Colorado Springs and I have a printer that's giving me some serious business. The printer is an HP M477fdw laserjet. The printer prints fine but it is making this weird rattling noise almost akin to one of those matraca toys. I've pulled the tray 2 out and all of the toner. It still makes the noise. I have turned the thing upside down and shook it thinking there was something stuck in one of the wheels/spokes. Nothing came out. The toner is new and the paper is of HP grade . Nothing on the paper after printing either a report page, supply page or even a normal print job. Any thoughts or suggestions would help.

Tough to diagnose blind, common issues are worn gears, especially in the drivetrain. Can you tell a general area where the noise comes from?

So the sound comes from the front right of the printer. It's brand new so I doubt it's worn gears. I have taken all but the right side gears and logic board apart which I am sorely trying to avoid. Thoughts?

When you say brand new, I assume you mean low usage not newly purchased as this model was repalced several years ago by the M479 series. Do you know the page count of the printer?
