HP Laserjet M631

Hp LaserJet Enterprise MFP M631DN Printer is only 3 months old, and the ADF document feeder paper sensor spring is weak therefore the flag is not swinging back to idle position.

I need to know what part to order to have the printer fixed.

Is it under warranty? HP does not supply individual parts for the ADF, leaving you to either replace the ADF or improvise a fix for the spring. You might be able to wind it tighter to improve the action. If under warranty, the ADF should be replaced at no charge.

We have noticed a little bend on the spring which has been adjusted and installed back in position.

Working for over 48 hours to now.

Thank you for your useful information for it would have helped to know if the above didn't work how we would proceed.

Thank you
