HP MFP-m177fw: Document Feeder Jam Message

HP Recommended
MFP M177FW

Hi, I have seen alot of people have had similar issues with paper jam errors on the ADF, however I couldnt find a definitive solution. I have tried the following so far:

1. Updated the Firmware

2. Factory reset

3. Cleaned the rollers

4. Cleaned the Feeder

Every time I try and scan via the Feeder, I get the error that there is a paper jam in the ADF, however there is no jam.

Scanning via the flat bed glass is just fine, no issues printing either.

Could someone please assist. I can see from this thread that a private message was sent to a user with similar issue, would it be possible to suggest whatever the fix is to me. https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-and-Copying/Unresolvable-ADF-Jam/td-p/6770593

Many thanks,

@NGP1, Welcome to HP Support Community!

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
