HP Recommended

HP Officejet 8720; will not print on anything other than plain paper. I purchased this printer several years ago. It had always been able to print beautifully for me ... until I put any other paper in it that's different than plain paper. I've tried Christmas cards and business cards. They always get jammed. I have a friend with the same printer and he has the same problem. When I purchased it the box said it printed everything. I made sure I did everything correct from paper size to width and kind. It did not matter if it was Avery or Staples brand. It just will not work. I tried bringing it back but since it was so long before I tried printing anything else they would not take it back. I am retired and cannot afford another printer. This stinks. HP should offer a refund or at least a trade in. Or maybe, just maybe, they will take this back, fix it, and lets move on. HP what are you willing to do. Most of my life, and it is long, I have always worked with HP products. This is the first time I have been disappointed. I know I am not the only one dealing with this. HELP!!! Or respond. Please.
