Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I had an error saying my document feeder was jammed.  My printer would not let me copy from the feeder or flatscreen, 

only allowed printing from my computer.

There was no paper jammed in the document feeder or in any other feeder.  After reading all the community messages about this problem, before taking the printer apart, I opened the top of the document feeder and opened the black feeder mechanism and using canned air, 3M Dust Remover, and blew out the top and underneath along the back and in any holes and it solved the problem. I think dust builds up inside and tricks it into thinking it's paper jammed. Hope this helps, sorry I'm not more elequent in explaining all this!! Let me know if you have any questions!
