How crooked? The published allowable skew on this device is actually pretty high. If it always skews the same way or you can visibly see the paper bunch up then you may have some debris in the paper path or adhesive from a sticky note or label in the feed path. Also if you lift the adf and look at the bottom there are a couple of rollers to the right of the scanner head that are supposed to have o rings on them and there have been some complaints of these breaking. These components were never meant to be serviced so you will find no official repair documents. You could check Youtube for a video posted by an independent repair person.
