Hello! I am experiencing an issue when trying to print on HP Premium Plus Photo Paper on my HP OfficeJet Pro 8740 All-In-One InkJet Printer. The printer has printed on this type of photo paper with no problems at all for its whole life, but now all of a sudden, every single time I try to print a photo, the photo paper "jams" when it reaches a certain place in the printer, which is the curve where you lift up to change out the ink cartridges. There is no damage to the photo paper and the photo has printed, but in most cases is smeared. All other types of media including plain paper, envelopes, etc. has been continuing to print as expected without error. Can someone please help me understand and fix this issue? The printer went from functioning perfectly every time it printed on photo paper to jamming every time--on HP photo paper at that!

 

I am using macOS Monterey (Big Sur was the latest selection in the dropdown box); however, this problem repeats on other computers in my house using Windows 10 and on my mobile device which runs iOS 15.2. The printer has the latest firmware update as of this post. Thank you to anyone who can help!
