Paper feed issue, my printer won't print, displays paper jam, even when there's no paper at all in the printer.

I suspect the paper feed rollers, inside the paper tray don't work, they're not rolling.

The rollers outside the paper tray, work just fine, but they're not receving any paper from the rollers inside.

If the rollers aren't moving it could be defective. I'd recommend you follow the steps from the document 'Out of Paper' Error Message and the Printer Does Not Pick Up or Feed Paper to see if that resolves the issue.

If the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

It's still not working, i can't find the requested serial number for support.

I replaced the device for a used Officejet 6950, almost as good, but without the photo tray, the C7280 though.

Works far more silently, starts printing rightaway in comparison to the C7280, which makes a lot of noise, before actually getting started.

Like I mentioned it could be a hardware failure, glad to know you got a replacement. The HP Officejet 6950 may not have a photo tray but still can print photos.
