HP Printer 9025 gear is broken

HP Printer 9025 will not print because a small plastic gear is broken that drives the ink carriage but is not part of it. Where can I get a replacement gear?  This seems to be a known problem on the message board with HP. Frustrating and very expensive to replace a printer less than 2 years old. I appreciate any help others can provide.
