HP Smart tank 515

When switching on the printer it goes through the start up process. Then it makes a loud clap noise and gives an E4 error. If you press the cancel error button it closes the error and then it claps again and the error is back

I understand you are not able to print due to this issue. 

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - 'E4' Error (Paper Jam)

Check if the print carriage is moving freely - Carriage jam or E3 error

 

Make sure there are no plastics or cardboard inside the printer. 

 

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
