HP office jet 4650

The fax option of my printer will not load documents. A few pages sometimes goes through then stops and says to reload documents. Same message over and over. What’s up with that. Any help appreciated.

=====================================================
Possibly:
- Printer ADF and / or printer rollers might be dirty.
- ADF might not like the paper - for example, document paper might be too thin, too heavy, curled, wrong size.
- Settings in mystery printer might be incorrect for Fax.
What to do?
In the case of Fax, the subject is one of the best documented features in the history of printing:
Read the chapter on Fax in your User manual.
Category Manuals > User Guide
Look for help for both Fax and for possible issues with the ADF.
Category Troubleshooting > Select Topic Fax
and
Category Troubleshooting > Select Topic Jams & Feed Problems
For example: ADF does not pick paper or feeds in too many sheets
Printer Home Page - References and Resources – Learn about your Printer - Solve Problems
“Things that are your printer”
