Product: HP Office Jet 4655

My office jet 4655 printer is saying that the paper tray is not closed when it is in fact loaded and closed. I have tried loading and reloading the paper (4/5 full and adjusted with the clips in the tray), unplugging and plugging back in after 60 seconds, opening and closing the tray, to no avail. Is there anything else I can do?

@OMGCOZ, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Refer to this document to know how to load the papers in the input tray -  Loading Paper, Cards, and Envelopes

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Also, perform the steps mentioned in this document - 'Out of Paper' Error, Printer Does Not Pick Up Paper

 

Check for any obstructions in the path or damages to the input tray.
