HP DeskJet 2630 All-in-One Printer

Hi all, maybe you can help.

Every time something needs printing the paper gets mushed up to one side and does not go any further than 1/3 of the way.

I opened the printer and 1) the rollers seem way uneven with one side much closer to paper than the other and 2) a little black detail (as in the pictures) seems to be not doing anything and just hanging loose there. I think if it was holding the rollers it would make them even - has it broken off?

Is there a way to save this?

Thanks a lot!

Dan

Hi @Dan567,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.

I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this weblink: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center
Note: Select your country from the dropdown,  enter the city or postal code, select the product and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.

Hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
