I have been disappointed by this printer. When I got it the printing was problematic (non existant paper jams, no ink messages even though a new HP cartridge ) I have now signed up to instant ink scheme based on HP usage figures but been told by them that I have to change plan to the more expensive plan. Luckily Im still on 7 months free ink.
Now I want to print to photo paper but keep getting 'no paper 'messages through HP Smart app. Having followed all the instructions on the virtual assistant, I'm getting 'no paper' messages. I have no idea what is going on but it is not what I expected from a brand new printer! Can anyone advise?

I understand you are not able to print photos due to this error. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Are you using HP photo paper?
Use compatible size photo paper and check the print settings before printing. Set the correct paper type and paper size in the HP Smart app.
Check if the photo paper is properly loaded, refer to - Loading Paper, Cards, Envelopes
Are you able to print on regular paper?
