Product: HP6700 Premium

In the middle of printing,  the printer stopped picking up paper from the tray. An error message ‘out of paper’ shows on the screen, but there is plenty of paper in the tray. I have cleaned the rollers (all of them) with a damp lint free cloth but this doesn’t cure the issue. If I lift the lid of the tray and fed a sheet of paper manually it prints. Any ideas as to what I can try next please? Cheers all

If you have already performed the steps from the document An 'Out of Paper' Message Displays and the Printer Does Not Pick Up or Feed Paper and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
