I've followed all the support advice on checking for paper and there is none I can see anywhere in the mechanism.  Cartridge holder tries to move out from right on power on and just cant move apart form back a forth a little bit. Cannot move it by hand.

Thanks

Mike

@theferret, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I see that you are not able to print as the print carriage is stuck.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays

Also, check for any paper jams inside the printer - Paper Jam Error

If the error persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

I'm sorry to know that. As it is a hardware issue, it has to be replaced. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
