I have no issue printing using plan paper cut to 7x10, but when using recently purchased card the print jobs either start late part way down the card and I typically get a paper too long error and will not duplex or they just jam. The card purchased is rated 300GSM/110 lb and purchased based upon the 110 lb rating.

Having read through some of this forum I'm assuming the card purchased is too thick, but seeking additional suggestions.

Printer specs cite max card weight of 200GSM/110lb

However, research of paper weights finds that 110lb text weight paper is approximately equivalent to 65lb cover weight card which is 176GSM card. And, that 110lb cover weight card is 298GSM card. As such, it appears that the specs are mixing apples and oranges and misguiding customers towards the wrong paper/card options.

16 to 28 lb (plain paper); 60 to 75 lb (photo); 20 to 24 lb (envelope); 90 to 110 lb (card)
