HPOffice Jet 6978 - Does Not Print

Hi: We have a HP Office Jet Pro 6978 that is barely a year old and has had little use. It will no longer print, started off with a message stating there was a paper jam (when there were none to be found), and now the message says to call HP and it has the following code on the screen: 0x600004a.  Essentially the printer is now useless.  We ran through all of HP's recommended steps (checking for paper jams, cleaning the rollers, etc...) with no results.  Please let me know if you have any recommendations.   Thank you.
