Hi @jgasowski,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Turn Off the Printer

  1. Press the power button to turn off the printer.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.

Access the Rear of the Printer

  1. Open the Rear Access Door:
    • Look for the rear access panel or door. It is usually located at the back of the printer.
    • Access the lever or button that releases the panel and gently open it.

Remove the Jammed Paper

Carefully pull the paper out:

  • Grasp the paper firmly, and gently pull it out of the printer.
  • If the paper tears, carefully check inside the printer for any torn pieces that might remain.

Check for additional obstructions:

  • Ensure there are no other bits of paper or obstructions inside the printer.

Close the Rear Access Door

  1. Once the paper is removed, close the rear access door securely.

Reconnect and Power On

  1. Plug the power cord back into the printer.
  2. Turn the printer back on using the power button.

Test Your Printer

  1. Attempt a test print to ensure the printer is working correctly and the paper jam has been resolved.

I hope this helps.
