Hi @MK_001,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet 4560 is displaying a paper jam error despite there being no paper stuck inside, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

**1. Check for Paper Jam

Inspect All Areas:

  • Open the printer’s main paper tray and look inside for any paper fragments or obstructions.
  • Check the rear access door (if your model has one) and the output tray for any paper bits.

Remove Paper and Debris:

  • Gently pull out any visible paper or debris from the paper path. Make sure to use a flashlight if necessary to see into the deeper parts of the printer.

**2. Clear the Paper Path

Check Rollers:

  • Look at the paper feed rollers. They can sometimes have small pieces of paper or debris stuck to them. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the rollers gently.

Manually Rotate Rollers:

  • If possible, manually rotate the rollers to check for any paper or obstructions.

**3. Perform a Reset

Power Cycle:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Errors:

  • After restarting, see if the paper jam error persists.

**4. Check for Sensor Issues

Inspect Paper Sensors:

  • Paper sensors can sometimes get stuck or be obstructed. If you’re comfortable doing so, gently inspect the sensors in the paper path. They are usually small, spring-loaded mechanisms.

Clean Sensors:

  • If you see dust or debris on the sensors, clean them carefully with a soft, dry cloth.

**5. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

Download Latest Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers and firmware for your OfficeJet 4560.

Reinstall Drivers:

  • Uninstall the existing drivers from your computer and then reinstall the updated drivers.

**6. Perform Printer Maintenance

Run Printer Diagnostics:

  • Use the printer’s built-in diagnostic tools or HP Smart app to run a diagnostic test and see if it detects any issues.

Print a Test Page:

  • Attempt to print a test page to check if the printer functions correctly despite the error message.

**7. Check for Firmware Updates

  1. Update Firmware:
    • Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for updates via the HP Support website or through the HP Smart app.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
