HP Recommended

I'm trying to fix a paper jam message for Hp OfficeJest 8012e where there's no jam.  Error message is " Remove any jammed paper and make  sure the paper tray is installed properly"  Noticed that there's some ink leakage and have cleaned most of it- wonder if there's some link with this?  any tips will be greatly appreciated.
