I was printing normally on shipping labels when I received a paper jam message. I pulled out the drawer and removed a half-sheet of label paper, but the rest of the torn page was beyond my reach inside the rear door, above the fuser area.
How do I get this torn scrap out of the printer without calling in a technician?
The torn page is encircled in blue, so there is nothing to grab onto.

That is exactly what I did. I have had it torn apart for three days now, and I am just waiting on parts. The adhesive labels wrapped around the soft part of the developer roller and there was no way to remove it without destroying it, so I just ordered a new one. Will I be able to call you if I run into an issue putting it back together? If so, send me a private message with your contact info.
Thank you!

There is no sense in me contacting support as this printer has been out-of-warranty for 8 years or more. They won't even talk to me. If I call the paid technical support people, they want more money than it costs for the printer itself, so that option would be foolish.
What I need is a schematic or diagram showing me how to open the fuser area so that I can retrieve any pieces of label that are stuck in there that prevent the printer from operating. I have replaced the developer motor that was giving me a 59.C0 error code. I have also replaced the scanner light bar previously. I have three of these M277 printers, and I love them. I need to know how to get into the fuser area properly to obtain any remnants of paper that are lodged in there.
I am not worried about the warranty, as there is none. I need a repair diagram showing me how to remove the fuser without damaging it.
Thank you.

Go on you tube and look up a video on how to remove the fuser. If you cannot find one for the 277, look at the video for an M 377 or M477 as all these models use a very similar engine design and take apart procedures are close enough that you should be able to figure it out.
