How to I clear memory of paper jam on a Officejet Pro 8620?

HP Recommended
Office Jet Pro 8620
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Paper jam alert that will not clear after both feeders checked.  Machine is printing but top feeder for scanning and copying does not work as long a alert is not cleared.

If I am reading correctly you are having a problem with the document feeder. The easiest way to find and remove paper jams is to floss the paper path with some mylar. Push the mylar through in the same direction as paper flows. Never push counter to paper direction or you can break a flag.

If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution easier by giving kudos and marking my post as an accepted solution.
