Product: HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One Printer

The printer and scanner were perfectly functional, but I did not use it for a while (few months). Now when I start the multifunction, the scanner feeder (ADF) keeps roling trying to eject a non-existant document. I have tried cleanning, moving the two articulated feeder sensors I could figure out. I have tried disconnecting any power source, including the battery, for about an hour. Nothing worked. What can I do?
