HP 1320 laser jet printer

Hello The main input tray 2 is stuck or jammed .i have tried to push the tray from the back, it has not moved at all. Is there a way of releasing the tray maybe from the bottom? Please assist.

What may be happening is that the metal plate in the tray that lifts the paper is not dropping down. You can try using a long stick to push down on the metal plate from the back of the printer while someone gently pulls on the tray.

Yes your advice was most helpful. Managed to pull open the tray and discovered that the little piece that keeps the metal flap down was broken. I managed to fix that and everything is A-okay! Your assistance is much appreciated.
