Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My printer won’t feed photo paper in the small drawer.  Just for fun I turned the paper the wrong way around and it fed it through but obviously this isn’t any good as I want it to print in the glossy side.  When I load the paper the correct way around the printer says the tray is empty.  Anyone have this problem?

Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved.

Check the paper, and then reload it

Check the paper stack for defects such as wrinkled, torn, or bent pieces that might cause a pick-up issue.

  1. Remove any paper from the paper tray.

  2. Remove any severely bent, wrinkled, or torn paper found in the stack.

  3. Check for obstructions inside the paper tray. Make sure nothing blocks the paper from engaging with the rollers.

  4. Make sure the paper stack is even on all sides.

  5. Load the stack of paper into the paper tray.
