HP Officejet Pro L7780 All-in-One Printer

HP officejet pro l7780. Constant error code of paper jam. I have no paper jam. I have even blown out the printer with air to make sure that no dust particles were in side as well. How do I get rid of this error code? Thanks in advance for your help.

@steve7298,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Turn off the printer: Unplug it from the power source.

Open all paper trays: Check for any paper stuck in the input or output trays. Even if it’s not obvious, pull out the trays and inspect.

Check the paper path: Open the back of the printer (where the rear access door is) and look for any paper that could be stuck. Remove any visible paper carefully.

Clear the rollers: Sometimes, dust or paper residue can cause issues. Wipe the rollers inside gently with a lint-free cloth (dampened with water if needed) to ensure they are clean.

Reset the printer:

  • With the printer still off, hold down the power button for 15-20 seconds to discharge any static electricity.
  • Plug the printer back in and power it on.

Check the sensor: Sometimes, the sensor that detects paper jams can get dirty or misaligned. If you can locate the sensor, carefully clean it with a soft cloth.
