Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP office office jet Pro 6978 printer that is displaying the following message; there is a problem with the printer or print system.  Turn the printer off then on again. If message continues contact HP  0x6100004a.  How can i fix this problem ?

I see that you are not able to use the printer due to this error. 

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - An 'Ink System Failure' or 'System Supply Problem' Error Displays

You may also try the steps here - Printhead errors

Make sure you are using HP ink cartridges. Insert one ink cartridge at a time and check for the error.

Use the old ink cartridges(if available) and check if the error persists.

 

If the error persists,
