I have a HP 477 FDW and the paper jammed and when I tried to pull it out it torn off and now there is a piece of paper stuck that I cannot see or feel in the output rollers.

If it is in the input rollers, you can try this: remove all the toner cartridges and paper tray and press the green button in the paper tray cavity to drop the duplex tray down. Tilt the printer onto one side, taking care that the adf does not flip open,  and this will give you a clear view of the input path. You may need to use a piece of stiff cardboard or thin mylar to force the paper through if you cannot reach it. The other issue with this engine is that if the paper is wrapped around the fuser or jammed in the fuser it is nearly impossible to reach without disassembling the printer.
