Hi guys,

I dont know why I cant talk to anybody here who is a representative here in HP but I have an old HP printer 8610 all printer and does not work because it keeps saying paper jam but I have been checking no paper jam. I am so annoyed because I am trying my best to fix this, but nothing happened. I hope you let me know.

If the error occurs as soon as the device is powered on this would indicate that one of the paper flags is stuck in the paper present position, or that the corresponding sensor is either dirty or blocked. Unfortunately HP does not produce a service manual for this device so I cannot give you an exact location to look for but typically there is a flag near the initial feed area so that the printer knows when a page starts feeding and one near the end to track when the page exits. There may be others as well depending on the complexity of the feed path.
