When I try to print with heavier stock paper, the printer jams and does not print. Regular printer paper is fine. The jam occurs in the rear of the printer with the "paper path cover rollers" (see Step 8 from "Clean the rollers from inside the back of the printer" section of Paper Jam Error) that are exposed when you remove the cartridge in the back. I can see the black marks on the paper where black rollers appear to be rubbing on the paper but not getting enough traction to advance the paper through the printer. If I look at the jam from the front of the printer, I can't see the paper. It doesn't make it that far.

I've tried two different types of paper:
HP Premium Plus Photo Paper
- Bright, soft-gloss
- 80lb
- "Designed for Inkjet printers"

Office Depot Premium Plus Photo Paper
- Double-sided, Matte
- 11 mil thick
- 61lb
- "for Inkjet printers"

@Danbot

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Has this always happened?

Please do check if your Printer supports these papers: https://support.hp.com/ca-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-8710-all-in-one-printer-series/7902014/documen...

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Let me know if this helps.
