I hit one of the buttons on the output tray and it came off the input tray. How do I reattach it?

During set-up, I inadvertently hit one of the buttons on the output tray and it came off the input tray. How do I get it back on?

I finally figured it out. They do not attach to one another at all. They both are entered separately into the paper tray..
