I cannot load cardstock. There is no option to select cardstock. I've tried other papers and none of them will allow me to print cardstock. Every once in a while it will print one sheet and then no more. It is not picking up the cardstock. I NEED to be able to print on cardstock. Is there any way to do this on this printer? If not, I'll be getting a different printer.

Smiling -- this is why I do not like to recommend tech to people.
True - Any printer in an attainable price range has likely disappointed someone, including when printing on unsupported or nearly unsupported card stock. As a group, the printers do not support heavier card stock.
Ideas:
- Call your local print shop - ask what they use or recommend for the paper you want to use.
- Look outside the HP Community - check with those community groups who print cards for others.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
True - This Envy photo printer does not support Card Stock.
Also true: Very few printers will let you claim you are using one media type when you have actually loaded a different type of paper into the printer tray. What? Printer won't likely let you say you are using Photo paper if you are actually using card stock.
Perhaps time for a new printer.

You are most welcome.
Some questions are easy to answer: Printer does that -- Printer does not do that.
New question:
Which printer?
Purchasing a printer can be complicated.
I tend to spend a lot on tech 💲💲💲 -- Best not take me shopping.
My advice is best given as "consider, measure, decide".
What you get depends on your needs (stated), what you want, and what you are willing to invest.
Card paper (200 gsm / 110lb Index) is supported by most (likely all) Officejet Pro Printers.
The trick is to spend enough that you get what you need without spending so little that you miss something you don't know you want.
Yes, can be confusing.
How to pick?
Start with the most expensive, feature packed, versatile, printer that you could possibly use.
For example - If you like Inkjet printers, start there.
Next,
Pick a "top of line" candidate: HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-in-One Printer
Read the section for the Specs, including the "Technical Details" (lower on the page).
Do this for any printer you consider.
- OfficeJet 9025e printer supports a wide variety of paper types, sizes, and several paper weights, including the Index card paper.
- Printer supports Ethernet, Wireless, Digital Send (SMTP), Network Folder, Fax and Digital Fax options.
- The printer supports automatic single pass 2-sided scan (the OfficeJet Pro 9015e supports dual pass 2-sided scan). NOTE: 2-sided scan is one of those features people don't think about until they are scanning stacks of 2-sided documents.
Short Version: Printer is "loaded with features".
Even on sale, this printer -- while quite reasonable as these things go -- might be more of an investment than some people want to consider.
Next, decide on a budget.
Look at the printers you can afford.
Compare the specifications with the "top of line" printer.
Make your decision based on what you are willing to spend and what you are willing to have or do without.
I have both an OfficeJet Pro 9025 (first version that came out in 2019) and an Envy 7855.
The Envy is a nice printer but it does not "do it all".
I like both -- I like the 9025 for its toughness and versatility.

I am reading some reviews that state the HP 9015E has trouble printing cardstock. I am looking at printers now. I have a question. If I am already enrolled with my current printer and purchase a new printer that comes with # months free Instant ink. How does that work?

You are welcome.
Sure - we would like if you can find an HP printer that meets your needs.
The problem if there is one, is that most of the printers, even those that support a number of paper types and sizes, do not generally support heavy card stock. The specifications say this is true.
I've shoved some heavier stock into my OfficeJet Pro 9025 and it printed -- the printer is well maintained, the printer is always kept super clean, and I suspect I have been lucky, too. Maybe next time I print 2-sided (white / matte) business cards will be the last - they are not supported, after all.
Good Luck -- and we hope you can stick with us. Smiling.
